phellow is a healthcare application that gives you mobile access to your medical documents at affiliated hospitals or healthcare providers.
In doing so, phellow interacts directly and without a data intermediary with the relevant facilities, which makes a significant contribution to protecting your data from uncontrolled further processing or use by third parties.With the so-called chronicle, phellow currently provides the central functionality for reading access to your medical documents.
Sorted by topicality, all entries in your patient file that your healthcare facility keeps for you are displayed here.
Each entry consists of descriptive data and the actual medical document that can be displayed on the go.
After a document is displayed for the first time, it remains in a protected storage area on your mobile device and is therefore also available for offline viewing.
Of course, you can undo the local saving of a document at any time.
Medical documents that are particularly important to you can be marked as favorites in phellow.
As a result, they are always displayed at the top of the timeline and you have direct access to them.
If you also need to pass on medical documents to third parties, phellow offers you the option of printing and generally sharing a document with other apps (e.g.
Mail) on your mobile device.
You can use this function yourself.
However, use it wisely as it is your medical data.ENABLE ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONSYou can be invited to studies or surveys by your therapist using a QR code, provided you have been informed by them or their institution and have consented to your participation in writing.
After you have activated the corresponding module via the side menu, new functions are available in the right tab.
These are currently questionnaires that you may have to answer at certain intervals.
In addition, vital signs from the Apple Health app can be transmitted to your treatment team to support you with various questions.AFFILIATED FACILITIES (HOSPITAL & HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS)phellow can only be used in conjunction with an electronic medical record that your hospital or healthcare provider maintains for you and gives you personal access to your record.
If this is the case, you will receive access data from the relevant institution, which will enable you to access your file.
If your facility is in the list of facilities already connected via phellow, you can connect directly to phellow to your patient file there.
